Current Reading List

My favorite thing to do is sit on the hammock and dive into a good book but the only time that ever really happens is during naptime or after the kids are in bed (; We try to spend little increments of reading throughout the day and of course right before bed so we are always on the hunt for new books! Today, I wanted to share a few of our current favorites with you.

Uninvited // This book was highly recommend to me by so many people... It's the perfect escape when I'm feeling overwhelmed or just want a few minutes to relax to myself.

#GIRLBOSS // Seriously if you need a good laugh or a minute to feel like a badass this book is a go to... It's a quick read and I love Sophia's honesty throughout the entire book.

What Kennedy is currently reading:

On Beyond Bugs // This cute Dr. Suess book has been one of Kennedy's favorite this summer and one we've been reading over and over again, ya feel me mom?! But it's all about the different bugs we are seeing outside right now!

The Night Before Kindergarten // Kennedy is SO SO nervous about starting Kindergarten in a few weeks so I got her this books in hopes to make it fun and light. It's a funny play of "Twas the Night Before Christmas"

Pinkalicious: Flower Girl // Kennedy got this book as a thank you for being a flower girl earlier this year and has been obsessed with it and all the funny illustrations in it as well!

Sleeping Beauty // We found this book at a thrift shop and been reading it daily. Kennedy is pretty much in love with anything having to do with any sort of princess at the moment.

What are you currently reading?!

Happy Wednesday, Friends! Summer is quickly coming to an end and this momma is dreading it just a little bit! This will be Kennedy's first year at school, ALL DAY, and I am going to take advantage of having her home and soak up every little giggle from her that I can. SO Kennedy and I decided we should come up with a end up the summer bucket list! If you've never set down with your kid's to come up with one I highly suggest it!
